So you can probably tell from the second pic, she's pretty thin. Yesterday she wouldn't eat at all, we figure that it was because of the stress of a new environment and family. This morning we were able to entice her to eat, so now its just a matter of healthy eating to beef her up a little bit. We have our vet appointment for her on Friday, where he will do the whole exam and check out her tail. The end of it is pretty scabbed and scarred over. We can tell she just loves to be with people - everywhere I go, I have my little shadow! :-) She's picked her spot on the loveseat and occasionally looks up at us to make sure she's really allowed up there.

Evidently, she was crated for much of her short life - mainly because she had a habit of getting into the trash. For all of that though, she is really pretty mellow and did very well with our nieces and nephews (age range from 1 1/2 to 7).

I think we really lucked out and got a dream girl!
