    Question Can pugs eat bananas?

I was just wondering if pugs were allowed to eat fruits and stuff like that. Thanks

I was giving mine fruit until he got yeast and had to stop all sweets even apples etc.
It really is not a good idea.

Yes! My pugs get a bite of banana every morning and they LOVE it. Pugs can eat most types of fruit (no grapes or raisins!!!!) and, as long as they are not prone to yeast problems or tummy troubles, it's good for them in small amounts. Fruit has naturally occurring sugar so don't give very much, just a bite here or there and see if your pug likes it.

Here's an old thread with a video of our Wonka eating a banana: https://www.pugvillage.com/forum/pug-...ana-video.html
He usually doesn't get that much of it, this was a special treat related to a couple of other threads that were posted at the same time. And here is a reply video from a different banana-loving pug: https://www.pugvillage.com/forum/pug-...ally-done.html

Mine get bite size pieces of fruits and vegetables, I think it's fine as long as you give it in moderation.

Mine will actually eat dried banana chips. They will eat anything that doesn't eat them first. We have to watch them like hawks!

Mine LOVE bananas! They get a few pieces whenever I have one. They also like strawberries, cantaloupe, and honeydew.

Lola has liked every fruit I've given her...pineapple, apple, cantaloupe, bananas, blueberries...i'm going to try canned green beans next...she also loves baby carrots.
