Okay, I have heard of them but what and where are they located exactly? Goblin has what looks like a pimple right near her little pug lips. Is this the infamous pug pimple? Do I need to take her to the vet? She doesn't seem bothered by it, but I just want to be sure that she is going to be okay.
Thank goodness she has no dates this week end!![]()
Have a GREAT day everyone!

unfortunatly, i know that all too well! my puggies get them and i just dab a little neosporin on them and they go away! I have heard that plastic food bowls cause them and to switch to stainless steel. the puppy pimples have disappeared so it may have been the cause! good luck! i wouldnt worry too much if its just a little puggy pimple!
Yup, that's the spot where they appear. Tommy gets pimples once in a while, but not to often, he tries to scratch them though, so I would put something on them before puggies hurt themselves. Good luck!!![]()
I swear the black guys are more pimple prone, I guess its just cuz you notice it more on them.
My vet told me to squeeze them, ew!!!
You can use Malaseb Pledgets on her muzzle, that helps Kramer out a lot.
Oscar, my fawn, has had a few, but nothing like Kramer.

winston (black) had a bad case of pug pimples a while ago. he broke out all over his little chin and had to be on antibiotics. sometimes, they go away on their own. just make sure you are cleaning his face/wrinkles regularly. i have a really hard time doing that with winston because he is an extremely energetic/hyper pug!! but i try... haha.
Please DO NOT squeeze these lesions! They'll resolve without that just fine. You risk superinfection (with other bacteria)...Just leave 'em alone. Neosporin won't do a thing. Tincture of time!

I to have noticed these little pink bumps showing up on Iggy's chin and around his lips, but never thought twice about it, because they eventually dissappeared. Funny, I had no clue they were pimples.

Also make sure your water bowls are either stainless steel or ceramic and that they're washed on a daily basis. Plastic is a problem because it develops microscopic fissures in which bacteria live, multiply and can infect you dog (or cat!).

I don't think I could squeeze it. I wouldn't want to hurt her and it really isn't bothering her at all. I wash her dishes daily and they aren't plastic. She has stainless steel dishes. I clean her wrinkles once every two weeks as they really aren't that deep, but maybe I will step it up to once a week.
Thank you everyone for the advise. Aren't our puggies interesting creatures. Its funny how they mimic the stages of human life. First you have a baby puglet, then you have a puglet that goes through the terrible twos while you are trying to potty train them. Now my baby puglet is a teenager with acne and all! Arghh!
Have a GREAT day everyone!
