Default knitted caps that tie under chin???????

I've seen someone post a knitted cap that ties under their chin for their pugs awhile ago. they might have made it. I am looking to get 2 black ones. I am going to use those as the base of my geisha wigs. The ones I made last year wouldn't really stay on. Anybody know where I can get them? Thanks all!

Cute idea! You're probably thinking of the adorable one Viralmd made for Cyril. Good luck finding one -- I'll be eagerly watching this thread. I've searched and searched, but I could only find them in orange, pink or blue from www.georgesf.com. Petsmart used to have them, but I just checked, and they're out of stock.

I think you are thinking of Cyril's cap and I believe I read that ViralMD made it. If she doesn't chime in, you might want to pm her. I think they are adorable!

    doesn't he look happy?

I'm sure Alice will give you the pattern. She's away this weekend, but she'll probably catch the thread and jump in.

Check the baby department of any local department store or Walmart. They sell those hats, and might have pug-sized one. I have also seen them made for large dolls.

Thanks! I can't use the pattern as I have no idea how to knit, but I'll keep looking. Baby dept is a good idea tho'. That is just like what I need, without the point on top. I could always cover that up tho'. He is so cute! Love his look of disgust!

As my mom used to say when I was a teenager, boy, if looks could kill! I'd love to know what's going thru Cyril's mind!

Great idea about the toddlers/childrens department for knitted hats! I'm going to see what I may have stored away up in the attic when it gets a bit cooler. Too hot today to go up there!

I think it's pretty clear what's going on in Cyril's mind and it's not appropriate for a family forum. That is one of my all time favourite pictures--it cracks me up every time.
