She's not a happy camper today. It was nail clipping day and, although the pugs are all pretty good about it, Lola is another story altogether. I always know when she needs her talons clipped as she'll start walking backwards on the hardwood floors when they are too long.
Sadly, clipping her nails is much like dealing with a recalcitrant horse. I muzzle her and blindfold her. That way if she gets out of the muzzle, she can't see me to bite me. I move like lightning in this procedure.
She's retired under the bed muttering death threats and generally being unpleasant to one and all.
