Can you make your pug yawn

I just got the new issue of dog fancy and there is an article about yawns being contagious. They did a study with 29 dogs and they had a person perform a large yawn and it caused 72% of the dogs to yawn. I tryed this with Bella and she yawned, too funny. Try this on your pugs and let me know what happens.

I just read that myself. I tried, but they didn't do it. I think I'll keep trying as soon as the current pugtona is over.

I haven't tried it but I can make Diesel yawn by rubbing his ears.

I have tried this myself and Samantha and Max both yawned. I thought that was really neat and really interesting. I know how to get my dogs to yawn when I want them to now. Thanks for posting this.

If I rub on Bodhi's cheek right above his chin he will yawn. Sometimes he trys to fight it though and I only get a half yawn

I just tried it with Misty looking at me, and no yawn yet- but the funny thing about this thread is that I'd read that yawning was contagious when I was a kid, so my cousin and I used to yawn around people to get them to do it!!!

I'd try it but Co-Pilot is sleeping, that is too funny. I love Bella, she's SO cute!
