Paul said Bo did three howls yesterday. Put his head back and howled like a wolf! I have never seen/heard him do it.

Wow! Did he say why Bo might have been howling like a wolf? I was beginning to think that pugs just never did the howl!

Rumy doesn't really howl, but he does the "black pug scream". It's usually when he gets really upset and I'm trying to hold him - it sounds literally like a women screaming. It hurts my ears while I'm holding him and people stop in their tracks to see who's been run over by a car or stabbed. He's started doing a minor variation when he sees my son-in-law and of course, Brandon starts getting him excited by talking to him in a high pitched voice when he comes.

My daughter says Gummi does the same scream only when the Chinese food delivery man comes. It's a particular guy and when they hold Gummi, she just screams like she's dying. Not a howl, a scream.

So far, Roxi just barks and whimpers a lot. Nothing too scary as of yet.

Always missing my sweet baby grandpug, Montgomery Marie - I will someday see you at the Rainbow Bridge, my sweet little girl - (05/25/07-08/13/10 - victim to PDE)
