    Default Pug names???

I know we have a variety of pug names on here and i would love to see how many different groups we have.
I'm setting the poll for the origin of the names also. you can choose as many as needed for each pug.

it would also be nice to see how many of the same names we have.

Paddy is the name he had when he came from rescue, and his foster mother thought he was pathetic. I haven't seen another one here. bumble (my user name) was the first pug my family had. It's from a play where the grandmother carries bumbles (instead of bundles). At the time I didn't realize pugs were called "big dogs in small packages"!

Mine are all named after other animals.... Monkey, Piggy & Cubby (although Cubby can double as "famous" ...in reference of course to the Chicago Cubbies)

Jack & Murphy are named after the former name of the San Diego Chargers stadium Jack Murphy! However, we aren't Charger fans, but we're from San Diego and DH and I met there!

Lillie is because we needed something that could be replaced with Trixie.

Izzie's named after Isobel Stevens in Grey's Anatomy.

Named her that because she's my blonde bombshell of our herd of pugs lol.

Well with Phoebe my nephew had helped pick the name...I had a few different names picked before she came home, like Phoebe, Daphne, Bella, Ariel...I was going to put the names I had picked in a hat and just pull one but I was talking to my 4yr old nephew and I was telling him all about bringing a pug home, they also have a pug...well Cole (my nephew) told me that he liked Phoebe best so thats what I went with...also I love the tv show FRIENDS
As for Stewie my rescue I got a few weeks ago...Well he came with the name Scooby. well since he had never had a bath and was living outside, and the day I picked him up it was raining he smelled HORRIBLE! Since I couldnt crack the windows to get some air in the car to get the smell out I started calling him Stinky Stew on the way home...so it Stuck and I started calling him Stewie. I figured he neede a new name anyway since he had a new happy home!
    Becky...Owned by one spoiled Puglet....Phoebe!!

When my son goes to the doctor in New York, we always have to go see the Statue of Liberty. It's like a little obssession of his. So, that's where the name Liberty came from!

    Default Rosie

I know there is at least one other Rosie here. The children of the family that we adopted her from had already named her, and although we had been thinking of names of our own, it just seemed to fit. Especially after a few months, when she became one of those oddball pugs with a pink-colored, "heart-shaped" nose. This was from last Halloween, needless to say.
