what store do you like more... Petco or Petsmart

PetSmart, because I know the people there, and Petco is in a gawd-awful location.

Both are very high priced, so I prefer to shop the Petedge catalog, for anything I need in the way of dog stuff, like crates, ex-pens, etc. I buy my food at the local feed store.
For my fish stuff, I prefer Petsmart, and I also prefer to buy my fish there, as they seem healthier, although both Petco, and Petsmart are extremely high on their fish prices, too. Ever pay $37.50, for one goldfish? That's what the price at Petsmart was for a large fancy goldfish, last time I was in there looking for a replacement for one of mine that died.

I will shop either place for my bird supplies, although the feed store I frequent has better prices on some of the bird things.

Have a new Petsmart here and I have yet to enter the door. Don't care for Petco. Like Bethy I really like Petedge, great prices. We get out dog food at a local feed store.

They both are expensive and never have anything on clearence. But if i had to pick then ,Petsmart.

I like our Pet Food Express best, because they have excellent employees who give wonderful personalized help and advice.
But if I had to choose between our Petsmart and Petco, I would pick Petsmart.

I can't tell them apart and to be honest I had to go look to see that Tilly has her nails done at Petco. I think here they are about the same. Pet something or outer should be the name, or just merge and be the same. Tilly's food I get from a small local chain store.

Well, we don't have a Petsmart and Petco is a 90 minute round trip drive .... so, I usually shop our local feed supply, but they don't carry Buster's food so that I order online. If I need something that's not at the feed supply & I can't wait for shipping to Hawaii then I'll go into town and I'll go to Petco since there's no other option. Petco is expensive here as well ... I can usually buy it & ship it to Hawaii for less than I pay at Petco.

I like both. If I need a big selection and better prices, Petsmart wins by a mile. Petco is closer to home though.

I like both but lately we go to Petsmart more. We were buying food at the local feed store but then Petsmart started to carry our brand so we go there so we can get toys too. I always get some toys when we go get food. I also like to see the cute dogs in the doggie hotel. Mopsy likes to look at them through the glass. lol Also the feed store here was charging more for our brand of food than Petsmart does and we get cupons from Petsmart which the feed store does not send us.

Well for Phoebes food I go to either the Natural food store or a place called Pet Club. Those are the only stores that carry what she eats. As for presents I like Petsmart better. Usually better sales (at least in my area) and more of a selection.
