what store do you like more... Petco or Petsmart

petsmart is better than petco.
petco never seems to have what I'm looking for, no matter what it is.

I prefer pet supplies plus

Where I live PetSmart is much better than Petco. I couldn't believe that Petco is even more expensive than the privately owned petstore I go to for their food. I just got a bed for my guys from PetSmart and it was 50%off.

I go to Petco more often because they have the cat's favorite food- Blue Buffalo and better food selections in general.

I think Petsmart in my area has better toys though.

I patron a mom and pop holistic pet store in our area called Scraps 4 Pets for most of my food stuff. I go to Petco only for food emergencies.

clothes- I normally buy online.

toys- just kinda anywhere I find something I know will be loved.

We have Petco, Petsmart and Pet Supermarket here. I go to Petco probably 99% of the time. They carry all the food and treats my pugs like (Petsmart doesn't carry Natural Balance) and the managers there love to see my pugs. They have had pug events and do rescue and adoption events all the time. They have a good clearance section (bought a specialized leash marked down from $18 to $4 last time). Plus it's about three blocks from my house in the plaza with my grocery store.

It use to be Petco because of there free bag food program which they no longer have. Now its a toss up
