HOW MESSY is your pug...drinking habits??

mine are very sloppy drinkers..I bought a heavy plastic boot mat with the 1/2 inch sides and put 3 bowls in it...I am constantly having to empty the mat before is runs over the edges....my blind girl will pick up an empty bowl and carry it around the house until I fill it for her.

my blind pug rattles the bowl when the bowl is empty and he can make all kinds of noise...lol. he lets you know for sure he wants water

well been trying the anti gulp bowls and it does help some noticed that lately
not near as messy with the water dish but still hangs off their chin but at least it slows them down to drink

they are not fond of the dish..lol

I firmly believe Ugg should be dehydrated allllll the time.....with the amount of water she splashes all over the floor around the bowl and drips off her mug through the house, she can't possibly be SWALLOWING any of it. :-\ Glad she's not the only one!

My pug drinks a fifth of Scotch and is just stumbling around afterwards.

Yep, Nano is the same. You fill up his bowl, and he dunks his little chubby head right in, and lifts it out fast and walks to and from it, to make sure he covers as much ground as possible. He always seems to get the biggest puddles riiiiight beside my slippers, so my nice warm dry feet get good and soggy before they are slippered heehee.

Dante is extremely messy. We have a mat under his bowl and he still manages to soak my floors.
