Default HOW MESSY is your pug...drinking habits??

I was talking to my mom today about her new daschound and she was saying she almost floods the floor when she drinks water..lol. she claims more on the floor then in the bowl or in the dog...

with all my PUGS...all 4 of them here
they are totally messy pug drinkers
they spill the water all over the side of the dish
it drips off their muzzle and so on...
    makes me laugh too..lol

Paddy's not so bad, but I'm terrible. I stepped in his water bowl constantly, and had to wipe it up; then you could see the clean spots. I got one of those high-sided mats to at least contain the water. Do you think I've stepped in it since?!? No!

ohhhhhh yes ! Yoda is SUPER messy. You would think someone was having water fights around my place haha. He gulps down his water, and then runs around with so much water dripping off his chin, its hilarious !

Considering Pudding is a tomboy she drinks nicely like a lady. Our lady Rosie however, laps then takes a mouthful of water and spills it all over the floor, leaving a trail as she walks away.

I need to have my video camera rolling the next time I get back from taking the dogs to the park. When Dixie makes her way over to the water bowl, she will basically dunk her head in the water bowl. Then, on occasions she will jump in the water bowl with her front paws and start slinging water everywhere. It is the weirdest thing.

Both of mine splash it about and leave drips everywhere.

Toddy's favourite thing to do is jump up on our bed and drink out of my nightwater glass and then drip water from his chops all over my pillow.

Scooby gulps his water down and then runs over to me and drips water all over my legs! I do find it rather cute though so I'm not sure if I encourage it or not! :) x

Tilly is not tooooooo bad, she drips water. But roughly half the time she'll drink too fast and then when she walks away...gag...a little water spitup puddle. What is kinda cute is if she's is near someone when she does the gag she will quickly walk away then afterwards come back. Kinda like excuse me while I go gag on my water...All done, now where were we. :)

Oh, she won't drink in the morning until after I change the water.

some of these responses are just to funny...........many of them made me laugh out loud......thanks for the giggles

another thing here with the water dish.......if the dish is empty........all of my dogs..do this but Bella. they have all LEARNED TO BANG the dish........they litterally make one heck of a noise..lol if there is no water in the dish. my blind pug here started this and then the rest learned from him...even deaf GUS does it too............ it is way to funny to see. with 6 dogs all drinking out of the same bowl............does not take much to empty it.. I have tried several bowls of water.......but they all want to drink out of the same one.... makes me laugh
