What are your pugs EATING HABITS like.....?? lol

but what are they like with their food..lol
I can say I have the cleanest floor on the planet when it comes to eating time...they do not even leave a crumb on the floor

unlike my bulldog that is terribly messy..........the pugs take care of that though too.

they are vaccums when it comes to food here................all the PUGS
they can eat and eat....
never seen a breed so food obsessed to be honest

but they are CLEAN when they eat and that is a good thing..
the pugs do not gulp their food here though.

Some here are messier than others. Dickson and Jake who have over long tongues make mess, especially Dickson. Bailey can be a little messy, the rest are pretty clean eaters, but as Ellen mentioned, the sounds could be sold to a Hollywood horror movie soundtrack.

Luna is very messy when she eats. She somehow sticks her paws right in her bowl; and she always has food on her little chin!

Total time: 20-30 minutes. 1 Newspaper read, or time to review a magazine.

Tilly was told that it's best for digestion not to eat too fast. Also, she feels that since she keeps me company when eating it's the least I can do to keep her company.

NOT sure how long it takes the pugs to eat here..............
but not 30 minutes of sure
they might eat faster if they have other pugs around them too
the bullies are totally opposite
they just nibble a bit and stop and nibble later and stop.....
I have to lift up the bullie food or the pugs would finish all that too
and give it back to the bullies later.

the boys are overweight and Zeena is really tiny......but she eats really well for a pug

Nope, Zoey is a fast clean eater. But the water, oh my god. Its like a slip and slide in my kitchen after shes had a slurp.

I put Bo's food down first then Scruffy's in the dinning room, close the door, then Maggies in the pantry area. I move fast as soon as Maggies food is down I go back to Bo, he is finished now. I pick him up and put him outside until the girls are done. Now this all happens in under one minute. Then the girls go and lick everyone's bowl, I let Bo back in and he checks out everyone bowl. I never have a crumb on my floor. Whrn I cook the girls sit at my feet looking at the floor for a crumb. The bulldog I watch is soo messy, drool all over, drops food out of his bowl and eats soo slow, All the pugs love cleaning up after him, you may say they wash the floor when he is done eating, plus he doesn't lick his bowl clean so I alway wash it, pugs are so much easier.

Well....I created a monster with my Rosey. She will sit and bark at the bowl and look at me. She will not start eating until I sit on the floor and throw her a few pieces for her to "catch". We have to play with her food before she eats it ......I know...I did it to myself by giving in to the barking. Now if she's really hungry and I'm not home, she'll eat on her own. Ya' gotta love our pugs!
