Zeena fights a hug all the time........she hates to be refined. she is soo squirmy.........she does not like it ONE BIT...lol
Zeus will fight it too.........he will let you hug him some if he is really really sleepy.
Max on the other hand.............can not be HUGGED ENOUGH. he even throws in a nice kiss for me to go with it. HE totally loves a hug

Paddy will allow me to skritch him; he'll cuddle for a few minutes in bed if it's cold; sometimes he'll put his head on my lap. He doesn't kiss very often. It makes me sad that that's all he does.

but Max makes up for them all...............he loves loves attention and to be held and squeezed even..lol.

Oddly, Miss Nilla who won't let most people come within 5 feet of her, seems to like hugs from me. She certainly didn't when she first came here, but now she not only puts up with it, she seems to enjoy it and occasionally will "ask" for a hug from me. I certainly wouldn't want anyone else to try it though!!! Not a safe idea!

Wonka is very cuddly and wants to be on a lap or touched a lot and he seems to like hugs just fine... but he'd rather have a back rub and neck massage!!!

I guess some pugs do not like the feeling of being confined and hold still. just today though.....Zeus was into pug hug stage for some reason. he was laying on the bed with me and was quite happy to be hugged..............a change from his usual self.

Zeena you would need to catch her first.....lol to give her a hug. she fights and fights a hug..........too busy doing something all the time. the only time I see her sitting still is when she is sleeping. no wander she is a tiny pug.lol

Stanley is a very huggly puggly although he sometimes needs his own space and we're cool with that :o)

Bear is huge on hugs! He loves to be cuddled and hugged and is almost too needy! (but I NEVER get kisses from him!), Rosie loves hugs from her daddy any and all of the time but I only get them when she's tired or feeling especially loving, otherwise she's just to busy for any of that mushy stuff!

just tonight gave Max a big hug and he just loves it.......he even leans into the hug. if you pick him up he will put his paws around your neck even. such a change from when he first came and could not get close to him. he is without a doubt my best snuggler..
