I'm sorry.. I'm alpha of my whole domain .... (not including hubby of course, who is King Alpha) .. Meisuu will sometimes try to let me know she is alpha, but I simply remind her I have opposable thumbs and if she doesn't want to starve, she can back right off. She does let our younger crew (Abby, Jethro and Gracie) know she is in charge when Mom's not around.. she need only snap at Jethro and he's such a wuss he rolls over to play dead... she growls at the puppy and Gracie decides that means it's play time. Most of the time (Meisuu having been a great mom in her day) she just lays there and lets Gracie have her way, but when she's done being a chew toy, Gracie backs off.

As for Abby.. she likes to let Meisuu know she's not as tough as she thinks she is... especially if Meisuu is ANYWHERE near Abby's Daddy!!! Every dog in the house knows when Daddy comes home from work, he is Abigail's domain and they all better just wait their turn. Heck, come to think of it, even *I* don't get kisses until after his face has been pug-bathed by Abby LOL.

If Meisuu tries to horn in on hubby's lap, Abby will take her down even though Meisuu has a good 3+ pounds on her!
