I have their bed right by the front door so they can see what going on outside. When they want down time they snuggle together on their bed. When I went down tim it's their crates. Sometimes my boy will go into his crate on his own when he needs a break from his girlfriend.
May we all be kind and full of love
under the sofa, it's dark, cool and in the center of the room so he can still poke his head out to see what we are doing..
Miss Kiki was an only child until just recently, so I am looking forward to seeing what she does when the puppy drives her up the walls, my guess is she'll retreat to higher ground like the cat.
Luigi will hide on any kitchen chair positioned under our table. He also has taken ownership of my recliner. Lucia is always there. Right at my feet. So I on occasion will hide in the garage when I have an important phone call or need some space. I think the difference between my Pugs is Luigi (adopted one year ago) is more independent than Lucia (purchased as a puppy) and therefore has a greater tendency to play "hide n' go seek". Sometimes this scares the hell out of me not
knowing his whereabouts without searching. Oh boy!
Frank prefers his bed by the fireplae, Piglet layson the linoeum by the patio doors Lucy perches on the back of the couch and Puppy is in his X-Pen he's not quite old enough yet to wander the house :)

When I hang out in the kitchen, Bebe usually sleeps in one of our kid's toddler sized moon chairs. She walking and playing around on the first floor cuz of the cold floors. When we are upstairs in the bedroom, she goes in her crate.
Rug on the the hearth even if fire is no on.
If Baron is at home with my husband he would go to his bed and get some "me" time; however, if I am around, he doesn't want to get away from me.
If I decide to lay on the sofa and get some rest, he would try and get on the sofa with me. On rare occasions when I don't allow him that, he would grab his little pillow and drag it next to my sofa and sleep there.
