Zeena has a short attention span but she does know Sit, stay and come and also water, food, treats and down and such.. she also knows GYPSY that is the cats name
Max is a bit more smart he knows all the words that zeena knows
plus shake a paw and also NO he gets that word...really well. if you say NO he just stops what he doing and sits..always
Zeus is my selective hearing dog and he seldom pays attention to any words but food and more food..lol
A pugs world is full of play and sleep and of course good food.........
Dumpling gets ride, bye-bye, potty, dinner, food, NO, stay, sit, lay down, go to bed, bath or tubby ( she responds t0 both), bus, kids, walkies and she knows her own name and the kid's name as well becuse she will look at them when I call their names.

Oh gosh, we've had threads about this before and I've tried to count how many words my pugs know.... it's more than I can remember!
Wonka knows at least 100-150 words, easily. Many of them are Freestyle training words (spin, circle, about, heel, right, through, 8, touch, tap, hind, front, etc.), some are the "normal" commands (like sit, stay, come). Many are just "regular" words that he knows (squirrel is one of his favorites!
) - he can pick them out regardless of how they are used in a sentence. He knows the words: practice, dance, walk, stroll, car ride, din-din (dinner), "where's mommy?" and "where's daddy?" (He'll run through the house looking for us).
Nilla doesn't know as many words, but I think she knows more than I generally give her credit for. She's a smart little cookie and she listens to us talk. And I KNOW that she knows several commands, but she often chooses to pay attention based on if she thinks it's "worthwhile" or not.

Sugarbear and Princess know the words bedtime, chewy (rawhides), treat, cheese, ride, and outside. And sit, but they knew that when I got them.
Tinker knows quite a few words but one of us is always talking to her. She remembers the names of most of her toys. We're always surprised at how much she understands.
I am convinced Mz Tilly has a full command of the English language with a smattering of Russian and Spanish. It's just she chooses not to let on. I know she understands cookie, ice cream, kitchen, shoosh, sit.
I must say, this thread is going much better than most threads on parenting forums go when someone asks how many words does your toddler know ...LOL!!!!!

Molly:

they both know:
