Does your pug watch TV?

Max just LOVES watching TV. When he's in the room and the tv is on, he always watches it. If you try to turn him away from it, he'll turn right back annoyingly – hey, I’m watching! don’t you get it!:) But the funnniest thing is he go nuts when he sees any animals on TV (especially dogs), they could be cartooned doesn’t matter.. No reaction to people, but any animal or even an insect or a fish – he starts running around barking. There is no way we can watch any pet related shows or animal channels with him around. We need to cover his eyes every time there is a commercial with an animal in it. Once, he actually tried to sniff a dog’s butt on tv..

Any pugs behave the same way?

Tinker barks at all dogs and some other animals. She goes crazy when the Beggin Strip commercial comes on even if she's not in the room with the TV.Trying to watch the dog shows or the dog whisperer is a treat!!LOL!!!

Yup, that sounds like Eddie. He will go crazy and run at the tv, jump on it, which he gets scolded for. Sometimes he will run past the tv and go behind it to see where the animal went. He too isn't picky, it can be a cartoon or real. We are trying desperately to stop this behaviour, it can be very annoying.
Zoey will watch the tv, but no longer attacks it.

yup....whenever he hears a siren on tv,he would just sit there and stare for a little while then he would keep barking until its gone..he does that with dog barks too because i always watch dog whisperer...

Chi Chi LOVES the TV. She even knows when there is a dog commercial because she recognises the music and runs in from another room. Chi Chi will also enjoy drama and watch an entire show. When it ends, she loses interest as if to say "well that show is over now." I've never had a dog that watched TV like Chi Chi. Ruby only watches and gets excited when there are animals on TV. She just barked at some horses on the TV as I was typing this.

Indy will watch TV but as soon as a commercial comes on he stops watching, and will only start again when the show comes back on. He prefers shows with talking humans to animal shows as well. i think he thinks he is a human.

Tuff will baroo (head tilt) and sometimes bark or whine when he sees another dog on TV, and he goes CRAZY when he hears a rooster crowing! I can only think that he likes to sleep in so much that he loathes that sound... ;-)

Diesel only cares about the TV if there is a dog barking.. Boo, on the other hand, watches it all the time. He never barks or whines, he just sits quietly on the couch and does the head tilt.
