Ellie used to talk a lot...Jazzy now talks quite a bit also! She yips, barks, growls, whines, and tilts her head to talk to you!

Tiny 'talks' to us when we are eating our lunch and she is impatiently waiting for a few bits of meat when Daddy has finished eating. It is not a bark, but a definite form of conversing to let us know that she is there. We have often said that it sounds like she is talking to us. She also makes an hilarious noise when she can't see either of us - head up in the air, a sort of howling but different, and reminds us of the cyotes we'd see in the old western movies, or cartoons. The first time Tiny did this, I was ready to rush her to the vets as I thought she must have been in terrible pain. Now we just laugh as we rush to let her know that we are near her. We might just be around the corner, in another room, but I think she wakes up and, for an instant, can't find us. Hilarious, but so endearing. It frightened my daughter and her partner the first time they heard it.

Oh yes!! She's got different noises for different situations: snorts, barks, huffs, pants...
