STUPID question by my sons..Do all DOGS sleep with their tails down?...lol

kinda made me laugh but then on the other hand do not know about all breeds........
but in the pugs I can tell they are getting tired by watching the tail
if the tail is down..they are asleep
when they are up and alert the tail goes up....lol
simple as that..

my other pug years ago had some kind of issue and her tail did not turn up anymore at all with age.......

the bullies for whatever tail they have..lol still goes down when they are sleeping
up when they are alert...lol

I am not sure about most other breeds that the tail goes up.......think they are the same..........the tail just likely relaxes...

and your thoughts?

I am surprised at the length of the tail in the pugs when it stretched out though......lol

been trying to think Russ of another dog that I know that holds up their tail...lol
but not thinking of any at the moment that I know personally...to check it out
but my guess is the same they would all sleep tail down..

I think when they relax their tails do too.It is amazing how long their curly tails are, Tinker's tail straightens out when she runs pugtonas. We figure it's like a rudder!
