Default Do you have to wake up the pug?

Most mornings I feel like I am trying to wake a kiddo. I am greeted with moans, groans, big stretch, followed by face rubbing, more groans and complaints. The when I get her downstairs she will usually go to the couch and curl up for more sleeping, and I go through the same thing before I can take her outside.
When I read on the PV this sounds uncommon. Just as uncommon as her sitting herself down and basically saying let me know when breakfast is ready, I'll be over here waiting.

I work nights so when I get home between 6 and 7 he is there up and alert waiting for me. The house I was in before this the kennel was by the washing machine, he would jump on the kennel to the washing machine and look out the window that overlooked the drive way.

We have to get Tinker up! We actually have to pull back the covers, she stretches, we do belly rubs then lift her down! She does go right out with one of us for her morning walk, has a treat then eats! She is especialy fond of the flannel sheets I have on the bed right now and her sleep number is 65!LOL!

Yes, we have to wake up both of ours here too. Same as Tinker, slowly pull back the covers, and whisper its crunchy time. Eddie usually jumps up and gives me snorts, but Zoey takes a little longer to get up.

no waking Molly here... she wakes up before the alarm... sometimes my eyes will open and she is sitting there by my head just staring at me. when the feet hit the floor she will run and bring me her dish. we get the food soaking in water while she takes her morning outside duty time... then she beats me back to the door (she is polite, she doesn't go in or out a door till the human goes first)... then she hops in and sits on her little rug till she gets the okay, then it's off to the kitchen... she will sit till i put her dish back on the floor, looks at it (seems like she's saying a blessing) till i say 'amen' then she gives a yip and gobbles. SOOOOO cute and well behaved... must make a video of the routine!

Ray gets us up between 4:30 and 5:30 daily. Once a human is up then Minni rises, they eat, go outside , and back to bed.

Izabella gets up when I do, goes to the door to be let out. For the first six months, she would follow me everywhere--to the bathroom if I got up in the night, sat on the ledge of the shower until I was done, etc. Recently, she waits to see if I come back to bed, and if not, will then follow me. And when I get into the shower, she gets back in bed with her dad until the water goes off, then she is right there.

If we happen to sleep in, she will sit up and stare until we get up and decide to get her breakfast.

Wonka is always up and ready to go, but Nilla has to be woken and carried downstairs. She moans, groans, stretches, face rubs and then goes back to sleep on the couch, just like Mz. Tilly!
