Default HOW to STOP the SHOCKS that come off the pug...???? need suggestions here..

I keep getting shocks off the pugs here..........
the floors are all carpeted but sure can feel them.........
they startle me all the time
can see them in the dark and sure the pugs must feel them too to some degree

need ideas to stop them?? from happening..
normally can use a bounce sheet but not sure that is a good idea for a pug
    any other thoughts??
A pugs world is full of play and sleep and of course good food.........

have you tried a humidifier. Sounds like the air is too dry, plus the friction of yours and their feet on the carpet causes the shocks.

This winter have had to use a humidifier. The heating system has a humidifier but since the winter has been pretty mild it doesn't run enough to keep it humid. Now no more shocking. Plus it feels warmer with the humidity up.

I invested in one of these yesterday. have not got it plugged in. that is on the agenda later today.
it is really dry in here with baseboard heating and even the infrared does not seem to help either
so will start the humidifier later today and see if that helps

Just don't touch them. No petting or snuggling for the whole winter.
