Default IS your PUG a POWR CHEWER..lol?

Max will do the chewing thing with a bone......use real raw bones here and he is content for a bit.....then he looses interest and on to something else..lol
But Zeus it can keep him happy for hours and hours.......he is the real chewer of the household here..
even as a young PUP Zeus was the chewer.....did not do alot of damage here as a puppy though..thank goodness

Bella is the power chewer of the bulldogs.........like Zeus a raw bones keeps her busy for hours... Gus will chew on it but looses interest fast too..

is your pug/dog a power chewer?
A pugs world is full of play and sleep and of course good food.........

They'll both worry at a fresh marrow bone for hours. Besides that, Ray doesn'y really get into it, He came to us with pretty bad teeth, although the marrow bones are helping. Minni on the other hand chews on her toys, bones, or antlers constantly.

    Default Want one more pug

Hello, I am new to this forum and I appologize in advance if I am not writting my question in a right place :)
I have a dilema, my pug Mopsy is almost seven years old and a big spoiled bundle of my joy... I had always wanted to get one more girl pug but with life changes I never got arount to it... So now, my husband and I would like to adopt one more pug, a younger girl... but we are so not sure to how he is going to react or if that will change his personallity... We had our friend puppies recently, a chow chow and a min pin and they were both very active, while our pug Mopsy was just staying away, wanting to slip... he didn't mind that they were munching his food but he didn't want to be bothered...
So my question is, has anyone alse had the simular situation and how did they approach it, did it work out, should I ever bother gething another pug this late in the game??

    Thank you so much!

p.s. he doesn't really mind the bunnies we have... probably because they just say hello to one another when passig by and mostly mind their owen business... which is what I DONT want to happen if I get another pug, I want the pugs to like each other and to be close to one another...

    Thank you
    Mel

When I was looking into getting another dog, it was a humane society thing at a local pet smart. I had to fill out some paper work but was able to bring Spud in and meet with the other dogs to see how they would interact together. Also when we took her own I believe there is a 30 day time frame where if they did not get along we could bring her back and try it with a new one.

Also Spud is not a chewer hardly at all but our Beagle Sadie is, but she is also just a baby. Spud chewed on everything when he was a pup so who knows if its something Sadie will keep doing.

Lily is my power chewer. I can give her a raw beef marrow bone and she is happy all day and into the night. At one point i had to take her bone from her so she could go to sleep. Lexie is not a big chewer. Lexie is 11 tho. She did a good bit of chewing in her younger years. And don't worry I don't give raw bones that can be ingested hole. But if Lily could, she would lol. I only give raw beef bones no other kind.
