so go and take Cindra to see the seniors today. we did room to room visits and on the way out noticed that Thersa..was in to get her hair done. she is 99 and no hearing and no eye sight. All of a sudden she says to the GIRL doing her hair..WHERE IS THE DOG?... she said what DOG.?? Thersa said I can SMELL IT.....lol
cracked up laughing we were right out the salon there....
so funny

but guess when the rest of your senses go the sense of SMELL is still there...
good thing she did not say that I smelled..lol

Must be a very heightened sense of smell though in her......Cindra does not smell that i can tell. and she does not loose fur and is hypo alergenic and just had a bath last night..

but guess dogs do smell..

they always say at the HOME that Max has that puppy smell still..........lol makes me laugh too

I do not notice the dog smell here but sure it is here..lol

awww well apparently she had super senior sense of smell! hehe

yep i think i'm going to try and give my little one her first bath tonight...i'm nervous and hope she likes it!

mine have to be showered here and are due for one soon too
no tub to put them in but it works in the shower.....
need to get an extended hose for the shower though
otherwise it is me and the pugs and bulldogs in the shower at the same time...

I have labs so they are only bathed MAYBE once a year since it strips the oil from their coats. If they roll in mud they get scrubbed down with water. If they roll is something stinky(usually cow poop) they get bathes,lol. So they do have a doggy smell to them. Now miss Roxie has had to have 3 baths since my grandparents got her last week. Were they got her from she was not well taken care of so she had fleas and BAD! Then she also had a skin irritation so she had to have a medicated bath then she rolled in her OWN poop and had to have a bath,lol. And she has the puppy smell to her but nothing bad.

Penny Pup smells, but that's mostly due to the fact that she passes gas so often.
