Lola does it all the time, whenever we tell her NO about something. My hubby laughs his head off when she does it and I always say to him, "Well, you've been told"! I can almost hear her mutter "a$$hole" under her breath!!

Hahahahahahaha! I am so glad you posted this. Yes!! Ozzy PUFFS on a regular basis. Usually when he's impatient for breakfast, but also he does a thing that I've been calling a 'pug whuffle'... he'll sniff your face (inhaling exactly nine times in quick succession) and then WHUFF, blowing little droplets all over you. I've got it down to a science - I'll wait for the ninth sniff and then turn my head so as not to get splooged.

Lola also sniffs my face. She starts with one eye and then sniffs the other. She does this to me several times a day. I always laugh at her and tell her, "they're the same eyes as last time, nothings changed"
Ozzy isnt much of a face sniffer. If I let him try to sniff my face it instantly becomes licking & kisses.

Snifter is an avid puffer. He gets fearfully cross if hubby puffs back at him though.

Wally huffs and puffs, usually when we won't sit and hold his toy for him, and when we don't let him into our laps. Obviously he feels he's being horribly neglected and mistreated. When we do it back, he always looks surprised.

Hahahaha this is great! Sophie is an avid puffer as well. She has quite a lot to say about everything. If you huff back at her, she she gets wide eyed and makes her mouth look like a little "O" for about a second and then starts barking at you in protest.

The personality on these little buggers is amazing!

Wally's new one is the closed-mouth belch, which is even funnier. Makes him look like a blowfish. I don't know if he's trying to be polite or what, but it's hardly discrete.
