I had a neighbour stop and ask me if one of the dogs would like to go on his morning walk yesterday. the temps were ok and trust this neighbour really good too.
well decided that Gus was the best choice of them.......he got as far as around the corner and GUS sat and would not move. he had to come back.
Decided to try Zeus and same thing happened
then said FORGET MAX...been there and done that with him..he will not even go with the senior staff to meet someone without me with them...so knew Max would do the same
always joke how the dogs are all so friendly here and would go home with anyone
now I guess NOT
I am stuck with them all.......hahahaha
no desire to go unless I go
even years ago......my ex pug only went with me for walks.........she would go with him for a car ride but that was it......

Spud will walk with anyone it seems. When we go camping my friends all want to take Spud for a walk around the camp ground. My niece will take him for a walk. The most that tends to happen is he tries to keep an eye on me for a bit.
Loopy walks with pretty much anyone. If I go for a walk with friends and bring Loopy someone usually wants to walk him and he always looks at me to see if I'm coming but he walks perfectly. He has also stayed with other people when I need to go somewhere and he's great with them. I think it's because he's used to being around people since he was a baby and I only leave him with people he knows and is comfortable with. He just loves everyone!
So far Rufus will walk for me and Alex. Haven't tried him on anyone else though!
The pug is living proof that the gods have a sense of humor.

Both SWMBO and I walk our Pugs. They will walk with our daughter if one of us goes along. We haven't tried to have anybody else walking them without either of us present.

Mine are a bit reluctant to go if they know I am in the house. I know this because I hurt my knee last year and had to get help walking them. However once they are across the road they trot off happily enough.
If I am not at home they go very cheerfully with whoever is looking after them.

So far, yes she will. Does this mean she isn't loyal to me? LOL...
When we are at home, Dante prefers I take him out but he will go with my husband or one of the kids if Im not home. He has spent time with at my brother's home & done well too.
