My husband has an anti-long snout bias. He adores both our pugs and our Boston and I'm sure I could bring any other flat faced dog home and he would adore that too. I kind of like brussels griffon, they are crazy cute.

My first favorite dog was the bassett hound. Had one about 30 years ago. It was a gorgeous tri-color and had a sense of humor! However, it was very headstrong and very, very strong. My next favorite became the Corgi. Very confident and even tempered dog. My husband's favorite is the Boston Terrier but they are a little to high energy for me. But now my forever love is the pug!

i'm sorry i never really understood.. what are the "bullies"? you mention them a lot but i never got what they are haha.. i guess i missed out on that!

but my favorite breed has always been pomeranians, but after having a pug, pugs and pomeranians are now tied :) pugs might even be a little ahead just cuz they are not such divas lol

I currently have a Cocker Spaniel which I ADORE!

I would love to have another or a KCCS some day.

And of course all the flat faced breeds I think are just precious. My husband and I have always wanted an English Bulldog but my vet suggested the Pug instead because they can be aggressive and I have a 5 year old. I always wanted a pug anyways so it worked out!

Our next pack will probably consist of two pugs and two Boston Terriers. Maybe another spaniel in there somewhere and I have ALWAYS wanted a Golden Retriever and a Newfoundland.

I would love to have a black lab some day. But I can't imagine life without a pug!

Sherryl we have the same taste in dogs.

    Pug
Dachshund wire-haired Kaninchen... it's smaller than the mini
    French Bulldog
    English Bulldog
Italian Greyhound... they look light as a feather as they bounce around
Borzo... so elegant, wish I'd had one when I had my horses, it would have been great to ride out with it.

Also owned and bred for field trials Labradors and owned an English Toy Spaniel.

We love the Rat Terriers, but I also have had, and have loved 3 wonderful shi tzu's. Very very good lap dogs.

i love the great danes... they are giant babies just like pugs.. their temperment is almost like a pug. very sweet and great with kids, and they love to snuggle even if there is not enough room, they will make room

Honestly, i dont know what made me fall in love with pugs initially, but it's everything about pugs that has made me stay in love with them. Karlihttp://www.dogster.com/dogs/1055064

Before I got "pugged" I had a sheltie who was really sweet, then I got a Golden Retreiver and was lucky enough to have her for 13 yrs till she sucumbed to kidney failure. I obedience trained her and she minded way better than my kids ever did LOL. Now I will stick with puggies.
