Dear Fellow Pug Lovers!!! My Dog Harley is nominated for a national contest through his pet insurance, VPI. He ate 100 rocks back in June while he was boarded and was chosen the "Most Unusual Claim" for the month of June by VPI. He is now in the running to win the National VPI Hambone Award!! Please click on Harley's link below, and then click on "VOTE". You can vote once per day per computer. (If you have 2 computers, you can vote daily from each one). Voting ends Tuesday, 9/20 and the winning dog is announced on 9/21. Harley's story was picked up by the local news and we were on TV this week. It's also on the Associated Press so it has spread across the internet! He currently has a story on The Today Show website! Harley's toughest competition is a Chihuahua that was swooped up by an owl while walking with its owner. But this is the "Hambone" award, which is named after a dog that did something very sillly. I voted and will vote every day! Poor Harley--glad he's ok. I am a VPI customer (yes, they cover reindeer!) and always get the Hambone news; I am amazed what these pets live through!
