Lizbeth, please PM me if you can't work out a solution to your current situation, either by keeping her or finding a rescue that can take her. I will try to help.

Thank you for all the suggestions. I am so torn about what I am going to do. Clara offered to contact a friend of hers but her inbox is full and the message would not go through that I would appreciate her doing that.
I also did not think that Lisa was being harsh. Unfortunately, what she said is true. It is hard to find a foster home who can take a pug who has lot of extra needs such as an incontinent pug. Almost all the fosters that I know work full time in addition to caring for their own pugs and foster pugs. So, more then likely, any pug that is incontinent will be wearing the same diaper for possibly 8 hours unless that foster home is fortunate enough that they can afford to have someone come and check on the dogs or come home for lunch.
I helped a young couple who had adopted from nipra not long ago. They had adopted two pugs. One was older and blind. He was an absolute sweetheart, and they loved him for the short time they had him. He developed kidney failure and was having to wear diapers. They contacted me since they had remained in touch updating me on their pug boys. They both worked and worried that they could not give the pug the time he might need. They were torn to pieces because they wanted the best for their pug. I explained in great detail that if they felt they could not care for him that the rescue would take him back. However, there would be no other foster home who could spend any more time with him then they were able. I know this couple wanted to keep him and once they realized that everyone else worked and was busy, they knew it was best to keep him in the home that he had known for the past year and where he was loved and pampered. He passed away not long after we had spoken, and they were very grateful to have been with him.

Bless you Lisa, there really isnt enough people in the world like you.

I understood where you are coming from and no apologies necessary. I would never ever dump her in a shelter anyway. No way. We love her too much. I am just taking it one day at a time right now. House will be on the market soon, will try to come up with something. Thank you for your support.
We are all pulling for you to get through this tough time with your family intact.
Please let us know if there is a suggestion we might make or something we might do to help.
Good luck with the speedy sale of the house.
Take care,
Lisa
