Default Pug Rescue Western PA for 3 yr old pug?

Does anyone know of a pug Rescue in western PA or the close proximity..or someone looking for a pug? I have been contacted by a woman that has a wonderful 3 yr old male pug ...was a friends pug and she needs to find a rescue for it so it doesn't end up in a shelter..
I looked at OH pug rescue but they will not take pugs not in OH..no exceptions :o(

I would give PPRA or Curly Tail a try, even though they are in New England and New York, they might be the closest.
There is a list of pug rescues in this forum, you might want to look there.

I forwarded this to a friend in McKeesport (about an hour outside Pittsburgh) who was looking for a pug. Not sure if he still is.

    Take care,

    Hi Donna,
I run a pug rescue myself in NY..I know the presidents of both rescues you mention and they don't have volunteers that far east..it is 6 hours from us...

For the other two posters let me know as soon as possible if they might be interested...you can give them my email address [email protected]
