We are 12 years old. The pictures below show us in better times - when we had our Dad. He loved us very much, we were his life, but when he died we were left alone. Our Dad's daughter did not want us and so we stayed in the backyard at Dad's house. We had a doghouse to share and huddled together in the winter and laid in a kiddie pool in the summer. We have been here by ourselves for a year. She drove by every day and gave us water and food, but we missed our Dad. We wanted to be loved. At least we have each other. We are littermates and Dad had us our whole lives. Now our Dad's house is being foreclosed upon and tomorrow we must leave. We were being offered on CraigsList for $10.
A rescue found out about us, and even though all of their senior fosters are full, they found a lady to take us in for a couple weeks until a permanent placement could be found. We are looking forward to being inside and having soft beds and hearing peoples voices. We are ready to feel loving hands pet us like our Dad always did. We are looking forward to being bathed and looked after, getting our aches and pains addressed and more than anything -- we are so looking forward to being loved and loving. Because through this awful and very lonely year we never gave up on people. We never stopped trusting and loving....and we will continue to trust and love as long as our bodies hold out because we're pugs and that's what we do. That's what our Dad taught us.
We hear we may get to grace the Rescue Roadster soon as we make our way South to a new home. We hope they find us a good place. Will you please PM us if you know of a good forever home for us? The lady in the Rescue Roadster says she'll make sure we get a wonderful home.
Thanks,
Guy and Buddy

Crying here--that was wonderfully written and my heart aches for Dad, Guy and Buddy. The daughter owed her dad more than this.

Poor babies. We humans think we are so evolved and advanced, but we are just deluding ourselves. Shame on this woman. Blessings on Guy and Buddy, and you Lisa, yet again.

What a sad, sad story! Their Dad must be watching from above and thankful they have found you! You are truly an angel! As for his daughter, she owed her Dad, as well as, Guy & Buddy so much more than that. I could never do that to any pet, but especially not one from my parents.
