To all PVers posting sad stories in other sections od PV PLEASE post "Tissue Alert" in the subject line as a courtesy. I know there are very sad things in the world, but there are some, like dogs that have died in cargo, that I can do nothing about, and there are some days it's emotionally too much for me to read stories like that. That's not saying I won't heed the warning you're trying to spread, but I should have the choice of reading about it.
PLEASE!

I agree with you about most things that are simply sad stories that they should come with a warning. But when it is something that is so very important to get the word out about, like dogs dying in cargo or in unfenced pools as another example, I think it does a disservice to eliminate a lot of the audience that might benefit from learning from other people's tragic losses by simply labeling it as such. Sadly, some people are always thinking "well it will never happen to me", but when they see a true to life story that moves them, it may make the difference in saving the life of an innocent animal.
