It's really hard to tell from a few meeting and even an overnight.

Edited to say I see you got him, congrats.
I am so glad that you posted this Donna, I am a little concerned with Zoeys liking him. He is here to stay, he has taken to me very quickly. Follows me where ever I go. My daughter Taylor is a little upset with this because she wants him to be her best friend. I will just pray that all ends the same as your two pugs. I think Zoey will take to him if we can just figure out how to stop him from mounting her.

I hope things are going well for you. It really did take a full month for Viv to except him but honestly now I can't imagine them without each other.
As far as humping goes, Rupert still humps Viv and she just ignores him, typical girl!
Donna, Vivian and Stewie..... Rupert forever in my heart

Thanks you Donna, things are going really good, Eddie is a sweet heart. He has mellowed out on the humping, he only does it when he is really excited, like when we get home from work. We just tell him to leave her and he does. They will actually cuddle together once in awhile too, Zoey has stopped walking away from him. She is still a little put out by him but really coming along, better than I excpected. He is a member of our family and it feels like he always has.
His vet appointment is this morning for his rabies and an exam, just to make sure everything is good. We have a great vet who is also a pug owner so I am confident he knows what to look for. Who ever left him to fend for himself has lost an amazing pet and we are priveledged to now be owned by him.
