An Australian puglover, I have come across a pug cross in a LA county pound
LA COUNTY~ BALDWIN, CARSON, DOWNEY & LANCASTER URGENT POUND DOGS!

Unreal? Why haven't this place provided some vet care? Its easy to see this animal was attacked. Shame on them. If I was in that area I would have already been in my car to get this poor thing!!!

most often the intake pictures are taken when the dog arrives....so hopefully that is the case and he has received medical attention. However many shelters won't put money into a dog they feel will just be put down....it's not like they portray it on Animal Cops.

I think this boy's time was up Saturday 8 January - can someone please, please follow. Very difficult from this distance (Australia), but doesn't lessen the concern.
Thank you to those who have looked into this so far.
Please, please, if someone/rescue can find it in them to foster.

I called to put an IP on him, but there are already two IP's and one Commit to Adopt and he is being pulled tomorrow. I can try to find out who pulled him so that anyone wishing to donate to his care can send their money to the appropriate agency. BTW, they have been treating his injuries, his wounds were mostly superficial, but he may lose the eye.

This is the shelter my Bailey came from.

Thanks for the info Lisa, I have been checking this thread all day to see how he was. I am glad to hear that someone is coming to rescue him, and glad to hear that they had treated those wounds, they looked terrible. Every dog deserves a chance don't they.
