Laurie~ My husband worried about that with me, but I taught myself a form of "emotional fitness", and now love the feeling of handing over one of my fosters to their new home. I find it super rewarding to see the love between a human and their newly adopted furkid! :)

It's very hard, you worry that they may not take care of them as well as you do, or their circumstances may change catastrophically....but you have to learn to trust, to always be there to support and to let go.....or you won't be able to foster anymore....or you'll have a dozen....
