I'll gladly send my royalties to them. I don't make a penny from my store. All the royalties get donated to various rescues. When someone buys from me I can see the city and state that they're in. I donate to whatever pug rescue is in their area.
BTW Aimee, I have both your pug shirts and everyone adores them! :)

I have a friend that does parrot rescue. I'll give your organization the same advice she's received many times over. When the funds are running low, it's time to stop taking in new rescues. It doesn't do any animal any good to be put into a rescue where the funds aren't there to vet and care for the animal. I know that you're not saying that the dogs aren't being cared for.. just that funds are getting low. It could get into that situation, though, if more keep coming in and none go out. People are being tight with money right now, and I don't see that ending any time soon. It's going to keep the rescues busy with more and more coming in and very little being adopted. One of the HUGE things that needs to happen is people need to get their dogs spayed and neutered (there are options for low income people, too!) and the breeders that keep breeding without having homes lined up for their pups need to STOP breeding! Anyone who can understand the word "recession" should understand that dog sales are going to be down and the rescues are filling up. It's not a good time really to be breeding animals. I hope your rescue finds the funds it needs! I know my friend pours tens of thousands of dollars a year into her rescue. I admire the work that they do!!
