My wife won't go for the fostering as I work a whole lot of hours and it would be a lot of work for her. I hope to start fostering after I retire if my health allows.

?? I thought Lucy was pregnant? How can she be a 'foster failure' and not have been spayed by the rescue she was in? The way I understand it, foster failures are dogs that are being fostered for a rescue, so should be spayed or neutered ahead of time, and end up being adopted by that foster home..

A foster failure if a dog you foster that just does not ever end up leaving. Max was a foster and did not come neutered I did it after I decided to keep him....... he came from a legimate breeder as a foster at my house.

not sure about Lucy and her story

Our latest foster failure was today - we adopted Murdoch, effective May 1st. He's been here in foster care here since October.

My foster failure was ^Kewpie Doll Boudreaux^, the elderly, blind Hurricane Katrina refugee I expected to keep "for a couple weeks." She lived with me for the rest of her life - about 3 1/2 years.

The three animals I currently own were adoptions I sought. And I have a foster I'm trying very hard not to bond to.

Pat, I may have Roly Poly a long time. I would like to see him get adopted but there aren't that many adopters out there looking for older dogs.
