Default HOW many FOSTER FAILURES do we have on PV??

thought some of the new people might be interested in this too. the foster that does not leave..lol

Max came at 6 months and abused and to be honest after all that time and energy to help him out.and he was a hopeless case to most involved......I could not part with him and he stayed with me to this day. he is my therapy dog..big big change....
so I got one foster failure..

I could not foster.......I would have a million stay here dogs..for sure.. I said at the time would foster Max and that was it and then rehome him..did not happen.

Jake, Bugsy and Bear were all foster failures. My others are all forever fosters except Marty and Peaches who I had before I began to foster.

    Take care,

Miranda, Winston and Frank are foster failures...Romano would like to be and since he has been here for over a year, it looks like he might be a forever foster (he is blind and once people hear that they lose interest...their loss).

Our Spencer is a foster failure: Now 12 years old. He was 4 months old when he arrived. Toby is a foster failure. We got him at 11 weeks. And Barney is a foster failure. He came to us at 6 months! He'd been in a pet store for 4 months, in one of those little cages. He's been a challenge from that for a long time. Also his nails grew so long that we cannot cut them short because the quicks are so long from never having had his nails cut until he was 6 months old. So we have 3 out of 5 foster failures.

All three of my cats, and Phoebe! I actually did give some fosters back, though it wasn't easy.

Only 2 out of 100 fosters. My way of thinking: although they are sweet and cute, it's really just getting expensive to "own" 4 dogs of my own and add the expenses for the fosters. Cute and sweet just do not pay the bills!! I'm glad I helped them for the little time they were at my house and that makes me happy - and no one can outdo the love of my life Mr Ducky anyways.

RE: WHO was a foster in answer to Pat:
Spencer is our german shepherd/husky mix; toby is our youngest pug, and Barney is our dachshund/beagle mix. We got our other two pugs from more legitimate breeders
