Those poor babies. All of them. At least they will be taken care of. So sorry about the male from the bonded pair who died. Sometimes life is just too much for these poor babies that have the rug pulled out from under them. Hoping they all get their forever homes soon.

Lisa, would you ask your people with the three pawed pug to give us more pictures and updates. Everyday my group travels several miles helping me in the little house, and pestering each other in the yard. Since it is an old injury, it troubles me that it should have happened at all, much less been a dumped thin dog. BYB or pit fighter or just plain stupid or distressed bitch biting the newborn puppy. Hard to know.

I guess it's the holidays and some people are desperate for money and figure losing the pet expenses is the way to go. THIS SUCKS!!!! One of my friends just got a six year old black male from the pound. He was dropped off by a teenager as a stray. The kid returned the following week to get it back but he didn't have the $. Turns out he was left to care for his family pet while his folks were away and just didn't want to. When his parents were contacted they told the pound to keep the Pug. This is a beautiful, friendly, healthy, house trained six year old. with the kid being eighteen, I can understand (not endorse!) his thinking. But the owners giving up on their pet is beyond me! This wasn't due to financial concerns, they were able to go away on vacation. I just don't understand this way of thinking.
