    Default Pug in DC Shelter

I don't have any idea if this is a no-kill shelter. I have a feeling it's not. Is anyone familiar with this shelter? This is so sad...this puggie is adorable! Owner's got rid of him when the new furniture got delivered

Sweetie Pie - I wonder is the person at MDPR knows about this little guy? He'll be gone fast I bet - but it would be much better if a Pug person got him.

Shelters are nasty if you tell them you are from rescue. I remember trying to get one out of a Columbia MD shelter and the woman hung up on me. If anyone calls, don 't mention rescue!

I did look on the actual shelter website and it said he's in a foster home so I guess that's one positive!

Ohhh! I'm going to inquire about this little guy! We actually got our new furniture FOR Vader, so no problems there!

I just emailed them, but I did read on their website that they only adopt in the DC, VA & MD areas, which I'm not... We'll see!

Let me know what you find out!! I'm not too far from DC and my parents actually live in Bridgeton, NJ so we're up there quite often if you could use any help!

Well, good news for baby Milo, but bad news for me! It looks like there is already an adoption pending. They said they'd let me know if it fell through. Also, they gave me the contact name for Maryland Pug Rescue, so maybe I'll call them, too.
