You'll find your new pug!!!! Your daughter Abigail is a cutie!!! Its good to see people adopting pugs who have small children instead of dumping them when the children come along. You are going to LOVE life with 2 pugs!!!!!

Thank you Mary! I am sad when I hear so many stories of people dumping their dogs when kids come along. And it has happened in my family too. BIL & SIL had a corgi and when their baby boy came along suddenly the corgi was just too much to be bothered with. So much for loyalty to your pet. I just can't fathom that attitude...Henry is like another child to me. Luckily the corgi went to another couple in their family, and he is SO loved and spoiled.

As overwhelming Rudy Tooter was I did really love having 2 pugs. I am excited to have another. Hoping to find a pug that is a little less crazy this time.

Don't get discouraged. When Karl and I decided to add a third pug, we went to adoption fairs, filled out an application, went through the home study, etc, etc, and the rescue took like two months to even get to the home study.

Then, before we heard back from the rescue, six-month-old Leo literally fell into our laps through another source. As it turns out, he ended up choosing us and he is our family's perfect (though loud, hyper, and crazy) fit. Your next pug is out there somewhere and there's no telling what path he or she will take to find you.

We were denied by Midwest, they don't adopt to homes with children under 7 plus none of their foster homes have kids...and the fact that Jeff had to be convinced. I understand. (Is that ok for me to share with everyone? If not let me know. Just wanted to share the update and no hard feelings, I respect their decisions!)

But all is not lost, Vicki from Prairie Pugs said they just got in a handsome fawn boy.

Melissa and Jeff's application is approved by Prairie Pugs as they
have already adopted from us in the past. They know what are
standards are and what we expect from our forever homes. We
normally don't adopt to family's with small children either but Henry has
done a wonderful job with Abigail. That little girl is very Pug friendly.
Vicki and Dennis have pugset for Henry and know what a special
little man he is. We will do our best to find the perfect pug for
Melissa. There's a little guy, by the name of Otis, that just came
into rescue who may be just right. We have another application,
beside's Melissa's, that we are considering for this little man. He will
go to whomever is the best match.

Melissa, I am meeting a 6yr old mellow boy this week. Hubby doesn't know yet! We have sorta agreed on a 2nd but he has his mind made up for a black pug.
To bad we can't ship him to you.
