I just wanted to let you know that at least with the bladder issues it may have been easy to miss. My Dora had the very same problems with a bladder stone blocking her up a few moths ago. Everything I've read stated that most bladder stones are caused from UTIs. And I'm sure that is the case with Dora's BUT she had been with me for more than a year before the stone issue and never showed any signs of a UTI. We had no idea anything was wrong until one day she just tried to pee and nothing would come out! So from experience, I'd say that is an easy one to miss if they aren't showing any symptoms. I don't know anything about the knee issue though. I would for sure let the rescue know as well just so they can be informed.

And thanks for being such a great pug mom already! We need more people like you to adopt rescues

Amber, Genie, Dora, Einstein, Mackinley and always missing our sweet boy Mack.

Dogs sleep so much because they love so hard.

Now that I am "cooling off" I realize that much of this lack of information could be the fault of the previous owners that gave her up. She was an owner surrender and they told the rescue that she had no health problems. Now I'm wondering if her bladder problems might have been part of the reason they gave her to rescue? hmmmmmmm....

I will still send inform the person who runs the rescue of the situation. I can't believe how much this little girl has already stolen my heart, I missed her SO much while she was at the vets!!! She is now snoring next to me on the couch, totally exhausted from the experience.

Thank you everybody for all your kind thoughts and great advice!!
