I hope it's okay if I post this here because I'm not sure what to do with it, but a friend of ours asked us to help her find a home for her 1-year-old female fawn. The reason being that her human toddler has to have open heart surgery in 2 months. Her son and Wednesday (pug) are very attached, but he will not been able to play at all for a few months, and from what she says, Wednesday is a little firecracker. LOL
They were going to breed her, but not since this happened so she is not spayed. I told her that she should either have her spayed or make sure the adoptee's do so that someone doesn't make her a puppy producer (lots of that going on in rural PA).
We have 4 pugs and I we are considering adopting her (we will, of course, if it's the last resort), but I thought I would post about her and see if anyone knows anyone who knows anyone who might love up on little Wednesday. I know the Central PA rescue had to close for financial reasons. If anyone has any leads, please PM me!!

Emily from CPPR is where my Molly came from (a mennonite puppy mill in Lancaster Co). She has been trying to contact Bridgette and some of the others but the last time I checked my email msgs, there was no response.
I could pick up, have spayed (at my expense) and foster either until the family is ready to have their pug returned (if at all) or until a permanent home could be found. Hard choices for this family, it would be nice to have a happy end-healthy heart and pug.

Well, I just got off the phone with Wednesday's mom and she wants to sell her. This thought had honestly never crossed my mind when she asked me to help her find a home! I gently told her that she would find a much better home for her by adopting her to a loving family, but she said she has to sell her. This is disheartening to me because, obviously, that opens up a whole 'nuther door, so to speak. I'm now considering taking her myself just to keep some weirdo from getting her. I didn't even ask how she would find a buyer.
