Exclamation A Warning for all those fostering puppies . . .

DO NOT fall under the puppy spell. Oh sure, they will sigh in your ear and lick your face and woe you with puppy breath. Resist! Their power is strong, but you must be stronger.

And when they cuddle in close, resist the soft fur and the snuggle power. It's lethal.

I'm just saying.... (I WILL NOT CAVE.)

If you think dogs can't count, try putting three dog biscuits in your pocket and then give him only two of them.

You know, I just don't fall under that spell. You bet they are cute and sweet and lovely, but Maudie's little moans and her not so little farts are much more alluring to me than Glory's antics.
If Glory and Maudie were lined up side by side and I had to choose one--without knowing either one, I would have still picked Maudie.
Glory is a charmer, no question, but I love my older guys.

Am I the only sucker here? My mom had Grady tonight and he was crying to get to me. She said, "Oh dear, he thinks you're his mommy." I picked him up and said, "Listen son, we have to have a chat. I like you a lot, but you're not staying." He tilted his head, sighed and licked my nose as if to say, "Yeah right. I'll wear you down woman!"

You all are stronger than me. Every time someone posts a picture of a puppy, I show it to my husband and tell him I want one. He laughs and then says "You only want one to play with and give back in a couple days." He is right. I love that my two have slowed down. They were a handful as puppies...BJ especially! But man, how can one resist the charm of a puppy?????

Sam, you are not the only one! I love my seniors but when Sydney
came to us at 12 weeks old all eyes and ears she stole my heart, and not to mention my fingers and toes!

Nope...you are definitely not the only one Sam! Murray is tugging at our heart strings in a bad, bad way!! I keep telling myself that "he's just a foster" but I don't know if I'm going to be able to let him go.

My money's on the puppy breath, if you really want to know!

There's something about little round eyes, soft fur and little whimpers.

Jewel was one of the foster puppies I had. She was 8 weeks old when I started fostering her. Little did I know when I adopted her that she would be such a monster!!!
