We had a wonderful day at the Pug Welfare Garden Party yesterday. The weather was kind, sunny but not too hot for the pugs. There were pug games, pug fancy dress, and a parade of rescue pugs. Almandine and Paul and the Pugnest pugs, and Bella and Snifter, were there too; it was lovely to see everyone, most particularly dear George who is looking so fit and well after all his problems. Hattie had a brilliant time socialising with everybody, and we raised lots of money for rescue on the tombola.
I have pics but really must learn how to post them. I promise to do so ASAP.
Apparently some 33 pugs have passed through Pug Welfare already this year, for a variety of different reasons. Undoubtedly there will be more.
H the P
We had a smashing afternoon!
I know Paul took some pictures. I was too busy juggling leads to get my camera out of the bag
It never ceases to amaze me how so many pugs can be on one field and not one squabble amongst them.
Almandine and the gang - George, Dannika, Darwishi (Wish) and Pickle.... and who knows.... maybe a new little boy too...
Samson, Treacle, Maisie and the beautiful Onion at the Bridge. In our hearts forever.
Sorry i missed it this year, We have just returned from our holiday in sardinia
glad you all had a great time!![]()
We took a few pics. I'll try to get them posted soon.
