Dawn kindly pointed out that we reached 100 pugs on Saturday since we started in Jan 06. But we already are at 101 and counting.

We have had some doozies these past few months too. Ugh. Including a 4 month old who just came in-he was bought from a tax refund, he got a scratch on his eye from a kitten and the owner just didn't bother putting in drops. So she posted on craigslist as a free pug or else she'd take him to the shelter. Luckily I emailed her about rescue and she turned him in. But the poor guy has had a painful scratch for awhile now!!

Poor tax return puggie. What an idiot that owner was.

Congratulations Saira...that is impressive...100 puggies alive because of your group efforts...congratulations!!!
I pray that there will be a time the World will be 'smarter' and Rescue will not be necessary at this level....

Kinda a bitter sweet milestone, huh? Too bad so many babies are turned in, but thank God for the rescue or who knows where they would end up. The poor little guy with the scratch! I bet you are ready to foster another puppy!
