That is the stupidest thing I have heard all week. -- fleas, dogs, outside - Yeah dogs get fleas and don't like it and scratch. -- AWWWGGH did this person crawl out from under a rock?

My ex-husband's exact words once, before I left him (Thelma & Louisie were about 6 yrs old):

"Thelma is costing us too much money with her allergies. We should put her down."

    IT WAS MY OWN MONEY!!!!!!

She is now 14.5 yrs old, and perky, happy and we're BOTH glad to be gone from him these past 8 years...

Admittedly, I left that marriage for many other reasons, but this sure didn't help...

Of course I would never do a shirt with this on it to wear in public, but all of us involved in resuce can definitely relate to it, I think!
LOL..I love it! I think you should do it for everyone who works in rescue!

My favorite tshirt is one that ARF makes...it has a sad looking dog on the front and "My testicles are killing me" on the front.

Hmmm, maybe pugdad Michael could make a generic pug rescue shirt for us that just had the "hecause people suck more and more everyday" slogan on it!

It sums up exactly what the problem is. Its surely not the dogs.

I'm very glad that the vet stepped in. I know that's hard for them simply because it happens so often. A friend used to work at a vet office and had a menagerie of pets, all perfectly lovely, all who had been brought in for "convenience" euthanasia.
