Peter was scheduled to have his pin removed on Monday (9 weeks after he was hit by a car and relinquished to Pugsavers). The vet took x-rays and the leg is still not healed enough to remove the pin. Poor little guy is looking at another 3+ weeks of crate rest. The vet gave him some Ostrophin PMG, in addition to his other meds. It is an herb that helps with bone growth. Has anyone used this herb on their pugs before? Peter is so ready to run and play like a normal puppy. It is such a shame that the break was so bad that it is taking so long to heal.

Poor little guy-that must have been a horrible break. How is he doing on his crate rest?
poor little guy! but when he gets out, he will make up for the lost time! I have a young woman who is interested in him - I told her to look here, and do an app on the Pugsavers site. She lives with her two brothers, and a cat, and she works with monkeys, so I think she would be great for a healthy active little guy. Peg

Our Pugsavers site is down right now. He is a great little boy. He is going to make such a wonderful addition to someone's home. Clara and Bubba think he is much too wild for them. Since he has been here and on crate rest, he hasn't had much opportunity to bond with Clara and Bubba. And... they are not letting Peter into their pack right now.

Poor little Peter. Hope his crate rest time passes quickly so he can run and play soon!
