Peter was going to have his pin out last week on his broken leg after 9 weeks of crate rest. They took more x-rays and didn't do the surgery because the leg still hasn't healed enough. I talked to the ortho vet today and he said another 3 weeks from today for the recheck. That is 13 weeks of crate rest for this baby. He was 7 months old when I got him. Poor thing, this is driving him crazy! The break was perpendicular and rotated, so it is just taking a long time to heal. Please continue to keep this cute little bugger in your thoughts.
