Default Update on Peter (foster for Pugsavers)

Peter was going to have his pin out last week on his broken leg after 9 weeks of crate rest. They took more x-rays and didn't do the surgery because the leg still hasn't healed enough. I talked to the ortho vet today and he said another 3 weeks from today for the recheck. That is 13 weeks of crate rest for this baby. He was 7 months old when I got him. Poor thing, this is driving him crazy! The break was perpendicular and rotated, so it is just taking a long time to heal. Please continue to keep this cute little bugger in your thoughts.

Poor Peter. I'd imagine he's ready to get healed up so he can run around and be a wild and crazy pug puppy!! We'll keep saying our prayers for Peter's faster recovery.
