Buuuhh people are idiots. I have the same problems in my neighborhood. I have a problem with people not paying ANY attention to their dogs while walking them OR walking them off leash...um hello it's called a leash law! Sorry I get really upset about this. Dogs aren't supposed to meet face to face on leash it's not natural for them drive by is the way to go it's not forced and they have an exit if they are uncomfortable. I usually just cross the street. Pug has become very leash reactive from having bad experiences meeting dogs on leash and we are working with a trainer on it because it rubbing off on his sister (nooo good). Keep it up it sounds like you know what's right for your little ones!
